“In the Holy House of Nazareth the Child Jesus was the teacher of His parents.
Divine light, teaching, and grace poured forth from His every act and word into the souls of His father and mother. His every look and word were those of a docile and obedient child — He followed their direction and obeyed their commands and the commands of His Heavenly Father sent not to Him directly, but to them for Him. He sat at their feet, hearing them and asking questions as in had done in the Temple to the priests; while they hung on His every Word
and pondered them in their hearts and wondered at His words and prayers. This school of Heavenly Wisdom in the home of Nazareth with Mary and Joseph were students pondering the divine mysteries in their hearts waiting for further illumination of the Holy Spirit.
For 30 years the Holy House of Nazareth continues to offer to us a model of every Christian virtue, a pattern of what homes should be according to their measure they should imitate.”
