True story of a Marine soldier in the Korean Conflict of the 1950’s was wounded in action and relates to his mother the little prayer she taught him from his childhood, saved his life. The prayer in blue text and the true story below it along with a possibility that his mother may have read the poem of G. K. Chesterton: “Michael, Michael:  Michael of the Morning, Michael of the Army of the Lord…” in offering her son this powerful little prayer. Now we continue the good Mother’s example to present it to all soldiers of Christ.
