“Eternity is stamped upon the minds of the saints by gazing on the eternity of God,” said St. Gregory the Great. Â In the third century Saint Christopher carried the Christ Child across a raging river and was known as the Christ Bearer to the city of Lycia where he encouraged those persecuted to stay true to their holy Christian Faith and converted those sent to arrest him. Â He received the name Christopher at his baptism and his example to all is a reminder that we belong to the family of God.
The St. Christopher holy card features a Medieval woodcut image in color and an inspiring prayer to Saint Christopher, who is the patron of motorists and travelers, is on the back.
