Saint Joan of Arc Prayer Card

Saint Joan of Arc, who is the Patroness of France, was called by St. Michael, St. Catherine, and St. Margaret to deliver France from the English.  For five years she won many victories until eventually she was captured the enemy.   She was put on a mock trial, falsely accused of heresy, judged and condemned to death.   Throughout the whole ordeal she remained steadfast in her faith and love of the King of Heaven and repeated His Holy Name and gazed at a cross while her enemies burnt her as a heretic.  She was declared innocent by Pope Callistus III in 1456 and finally was canonized a saint by Pope Benedict XV in 1920.  Let us follow St. Joan of Arc’s example and remain steadfast in our Faith throughout all the trials and tribulations of our lives.
