Happy is the soul that knows how to find Jesus in the Eucharist, and in the Eucharist all Things.  — St. Peter Julian Eymard
On the feast of Corpus Christi in 1845, Fr. Peter Julian Eymard, a French Marist priest preached on Eucharistic adoration. While carrying the Blessed Sacrament in procession this humble, pious priest had a life-changing inspiration to make known to the world the love of Our Lord. He left his religious order and formed the Society of the Blessed Sacrament on May 13th, 1856. This order prepared adults and children for First Communion and offered communities for priests, deacons, sisters, and lay people where they could live their lives centred on and nourished by the Holy Eucharist in Holy Mass and prayer before the Blessed Sacrament.
Our print features original artwork in colored pencil by our staff artist and comes in two different sizes. For anyone with devotion to the Blessed Sacrament or for parishes with adoration chapels or Forty Hours Devotion.
